U.S.A Indianapolis

Indianapolis, located in the mid-eastern part of the United States, is surrounded by many major cities such as Chicago, Detroit and Cleveland, which are all closely located near the Great Lakes. Indianapolis is called The Crossroads of America, since it is intersected by more segments of interstate highway than any other metropolitan area. Indianapolis was named after a native Indian word, the land of Indians. Many native Indians settled in this city.
Indianapolis still reveals a historical glimpse of native Indian traditions. The city is filled with hospitality and seems to be less industrialized than in earlier years. Recently many people have moved to the city and now the city has become prosperous and developed into a vibrant metropolis
Two great Assemblies of God festivals were held in Indianapolis. On August 7~8, the 3rd Triennial World Assemblies of God Congress, planned by the World Assemblies of God Fellowship (WAGF), was held in the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
On August 8~10 the 2000 Celebration, planned by the American Assemblies of God, was held in the RCA Dome and Indiana Convention Center.
Dr. David Yonggi Cho, chairman of the World Assemblies of God Fellowship, (and chief executive officer of David Cho Evangelistic Mission), participated in both of these spiritual festivals. The Pentecostal events seemed to bring a great spiritual blessing to the city and many tourists seemed to take notice as well. Indianapolis has already become a spirit-filled city bringing about a great Pentecostal movement of the Holy Spirit that will influence other areas of the United States.
