Dr. Cho tells a story about a Korean fisherman who had a debt of 300 million won (US$ 230,000). However, this devout churchgoer, after seeing the leaky roof of his church, decided that with his next catch, he would first repair the leaky roof. The other fishermen cast their nets to the left and to the right, where the fish were known to bite. Left with no other choice, the devout church-going fisherman cast his nets into the center. When the nets were drawn up the day before Christmas 2000, surprisingly, there was very little fish in the nets drawn up from either side. But in the fisherman's net in the center, there were over 4,000 fish! The nets were cast again the next day and again the fisherman caught over 4,000 fish. From two days of fishing, he made almost one billion won (US$ 769,000). With his earnings, the fisherman repaired the church roof, paid his debts and still had money left over. Recently, he was fishing again and caught a mink whale in his net - something not easily caught in normal fishing nets. The fisherman was able to sell the whale for 150 million won (US$ 38,000). God makes His presence known through prayer.
