When Dr. Cho was 45 years old, his second son, an elementary school boy, was taken to the hospital after he was poisoned by eating pupas mixed with agricultural insecticide. His son was dying; his limbs were shaking. Dr. Cho prayed desperately for his son. Dr. Cho said, "Rise up in the name of Jesus Christ." After praying for four hours, he felt peace coming from heaven. Then his son stood up and vomited blood..
After awhile his son said, "Father, I was in Jesus' bosom and Jesus said, "My son! Go home. Your father would not let you go. When Dr. Cho commanded, "Rise up my son in the name of Jesus Christ," his son came back to life!

Dr. Cho gave another testimony about Elder Hyo Suk Park, president of Handok Cosmetics Corporation. Elder Park has received many blessings from God. He developed a new medicine to make hair grow and received an industrial medal from the President. Elder Park used to manage a drug store, but one day his pharmacy was burned down. He acquired many debts. After he got into debt, he asked for Dr. Cho to pray for him. Dr. Cho prayed and proposed that he begin manufacturing cosmetics. Elder Park produced cosmetics and made a great profit. However, he again was faced with difficulties during the economic crisis. Both Dr. Cho and Elder Park prayed for Park' business for 100 days based on Galatians 3:13. Then Dr. Cho got an idea about developing a medicine that can make hair grow. That medicine was 70% to 80% effective. Elder Park made a lot of profit and developed a dietary medicine. His business quickly grew and he built two factories in Japan and America. Dr. Cho emphasized that if we trust the Lord, we can refuse poverty and the curse.
