The prayer of a rightous man is powerful and effective. (James 5 : 16)

One day a sister afflicted with a stomach ulcer came to me. She had gone to several hospitals but could not be treated. The doctors told her that surgery was required. The woman prayed, "Glorious Lord, God who made the heavens and earth, God with great ability, omnipresent God, please heal me." Her prayer was full of nice words instead of words requesting healing. She did not have faith even while she was praying. I asked her why she prayed a Fellowship Prayer when death was near. Fellowship Prayer is fine for healthy times, but one cannot just pray a Fellowship Prayer with death at hand. I instructed her to pray, "Heal me in the name of Jesus," for three straight hours. Afterwards she visited the hospital fot an X-ray and an endoscopic exam. The results showed that the ulcer had disappeared! Task Prayer has the ability to carry out the task.
