Hong Kong Crusade Profile

▶ Crusade Date : June 16-17 (Thursday - Friday), 2005

▶ Name of Crusade : LOVE HONG KONG 2005

▶ Theme of Crusade : Working Together for Tomorrow

▶ Name of Venue : Hong Kong Stadium

▶ Host Organization : Committee that was jointly organized by around 200 churches in

Hong Kong

▶ Administration Organization : Full Gospel Businessmen's Mission Federation,

Northeast Asian Mission

▶ Support Organization : David Cho Evangelistic Mission (DCEM)

▶ Conference Attendance : Approximately 40,000 people attended during 2day-crusade

▶ Converts : Approximately 3,000 - 4,000 people converted during 2day-crusade

▶ Note :

One of the most significant aims of LOVE HONG 2005 was to prepare the
    way to China for mission. Around 200 churches in Hong Kong, Taiwan,
    Singapore and Malaysia jointly organized this crusade.

Prior to this crusade, pastors in Hong Kong who were in committee invited
    Dr. Cho and had time to listen to Dr. Cho regarding mission for Hong Kong
    and China.

▶ Dr. Cho's Schedule :

June 15 (Wed.) - Dr. Cho had lunch with 500 pastors and businessmen in
    Hong Kong and gave message regarding the importance role of Hong Kong.
    In order to spread the Gospel to China, God will lift Hong Kong and use for
    it. Dr. Cho urged them to pray for revival in Hong Kong.

June 16 (Thur.) - In spite of rain, Dr. Cho's preaching started from 8:40 pm
    and it had continued for 2hours. Dr. Cho preached that Jesus Christ is our
    savior and He is the only way to heaven.

June 17 (Fri.) - In spite of heavy rain, around 40,000 people participated in
    LOVE HONG 2005, during 2day-crusade. Moreover, around 3,000 people
    accepted Jesus Christ as their savior. Dr. Cho emphasized that we can leave
    the way of sinful life and live a new life through Jesus Christ who is the only
    way and the truth and the life.
