Pastor Cho's Sermon Outline - Yoido Full Gospel Church - Seoul, Korea
True faith
Hebrews 11:1 ~ 11:3

2014-11-16

What makes Christianity exceedingly excellent compared to other religions is that anyone can be forgiven of their sins and saved through faith in Christ. “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God?9 not by works, so that no one can boast.?Eph. 2:8-9)

1. What is faith?
1) When all creation in the Universe never changes and stays the same, we can believe in its existence.
2) We believe that God is Almighty and He shows us unchanging love.
3) We can believe in Jesus' grace of redemption on the Cross for eternity.
4) We can believe in the promise of unchanging promise of God.

2. God works a miracle through our faith.
1) The miracle of the Red Sea being divided.
2) The miracle of bitter water becoming sweet at the desert of Shur.
3) The miracle He performed at the desert for forty years.

3. Faith is look at what is unseen as what is seen
1) When the church was moved from a tent made of rags to a church with 1,500 seats, the church was empty at first. However, I looked to the vision and believed that the church would be overflowed with congregation.
* To see thing that are not as if they were
2) Faith must be revealed through deeds.
- Faith without deeds is dead. We ought to continue to act with the power of faith.
* Faith is revealed through deeds.
* Faith is not a noun but a verb.

The way of communicating with the heaven, God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit is through faith. Without faith, we cannot enter into and live in the spiritual world while still living in a materialistic world. Standing at the crossroads of the heaven and the hell, our eternal destiny is determined by whether we believe in the Lord of the Cross at Calvary.

Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
