I Want to Live a Happy Life
1 Corinthians 1:18 ~ 1:31

2015-10-11

All people want to live a happy life. Happiness is not found naturally, but it is to be created. As muscles develop by exercising, happiness increases through training. No matter how hard and difficult the circumstances may be, anyone can live happily if he believes in the love of God and is always joyful and trained to give thanks.

1. Believe that you are the children loved by God
1) Because human beings were created in the image of God who is love, they are happy when they live giving and receiving love with one another. The greatest and the most precious love is the love of God. This is because God loved us that He gave His Son to be crucified in order to save us. (John 3:16)
2) As the children loved by God, we must know the redemptive grace of Jesus' cross, the fivefold Gospel, and the threefold blessing. We must always give thanks and praise. (1 Corinthians 1:26~31)

2. Think and speak always positively
1) For a happy life, we need to stop thinking negatively when conflicts arise from interpersonal relationships or when faced with difficulties, and always think in good ways. (Romans 8:28)
2) We must live by loving each other, being joyful, and always laughing. Laughter not only brings joy in our hearts but also brings many benefits to our physical health. (1 Thessalonians 5:16~18)

3. Share joy and happiness of life
1) Jesus said, "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap." When we live by sharing and giving things to each other, we are all happy. (Luke 6:38)
2) The Lord said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened." Therefore, we must come to God and commit our weary and heavy burdens to Him through prayer. Also, we must give incessant thanks and praise. (Psalm 91:14~16)

Conclusion
God wants us who are chosen as His children to live a happy life. If we know deeply about the love of God, always think and speak positively, and share joy and happiness with one another, we can live happily no matter what our circumstances may be. A happy person is happy himself and makes the atmosphere smooth and pleasant to live wherever he is.
