Pastor Cho's Sermon Outline - Yoido Full Gospel Church - Seoul, Korea
According to Your Faith, It Will Be Done to You
Hebrews 11:1 ~ 11:6

2016-07-24

Nowadays many people live by carrying laborious and heavy burdens of life. Christians come before God and pray when they face problems. In order to have our prayers answered, it is important to get rid of our negative thoughts and pray with faith. The Bible says, "And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." (Heb. 11:6)

1. Ask by praying
1) When faced with problems, do not worry and go before God to pray. (Phil. 4:6~7)
2) If you pray earnestly about problems, your heart will be calm and be filled with peace given by the Lord just like mountain villages filled with deep silence early in the morning. (John 14:27)

2. Let him carry your weary heavy burden
1) Commit all of your burdens of life to the Lord. Give thanks to and praise the Lord with all your heart. (Matt. 11:28)
2) If your heavy burdens are about to be on your shoulders again, use your mouth confession. You must look to your burdens already being disappeared and make mouth confession. (Ps. 68:19)

3. Trust in God
1) Jesus said, "I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." (Mark 11:22~24)
2) If you have someone who you hold a grudge against, forgive him and declare love. (Mark 11:25)

4. I will give you rest
1) Jesus said, "Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." A gentle heart is a heart that learns things well and obeys the word of God. (Matt. 11:29~30)
2) A humble heart is to consider others better than yourself. (Phil. 2:3~4)
3) Jesus came to this land and died on the cross in order to save us. (Phil. 2:6~8)

Conclusion
The Lord loved us that He shed blood and died on the cross. By dying on the cross, He carried our burdens of sins, transgressions, diseases, curses, and death. Therefore, when faced with problems, do not be discouraged or fall in despair, but pray with faith. In addition, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it. Then, God will accomplish amazing things according to that faith.
