Pastor Cho's Sermon Outline - Yoido Full Gospel Church - Seoul, Korea
In Order to Live with the Lord
Matthew 28:16 ~ 28:20

2009-02-01

16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.
17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted.
18 Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

Introduction: Everyone wants to live with someone they really love. This is why young couples get married and create their own home. You will want to live with the Lord when you really love Him.

1. You must live with the first priority on the Lord.

1) Always worship, praise and give thanks (Mt 18:20; Eph 5:19-20).
2) Continually pray to the Lord (1Th 5:17; Eph 6:18).
3) Find something to please the Lord, and do it (Ro 14:18-19; Heb 13:16).

2. You must live a holy life.

1) The Lord's nature is holy.
- When two people have the same nature, they are compatible. But when two people have different personalities and interests, it is difficult for them to get along with each other
(1Pe 1:15-16).
2) Get rid of the lust of the world, corrupt culture, and old habits (Eph 4:22-24).
3) Always repent, and ask for the fullness of the Holy Spirit (Ac 2:38; Eph 5:18).

3. You must study the Word diligently.

1) You will know the Lord deeply (Ro 10:17; Dt 6:6-7).
2) You will understand God's will (2Ti 3:15-17).
3) You will be filled with heavenly culture (Col 3:1-2; Rev 1:3).

4. You must have dreams and faith.

1) If we do not have dreams, there will be no future (Pr 29:18; Php 2:13).
2) If we do not have dreams, there will be no fulfillment.
3) If we do not have dreams, there will be no passion.
4) If we do not have dreams, there will be no faith.
5) We should have dreams to be able to rise to the challenge by faith (Heb 10:38).

Conclusion: Living with the Lord is the happiest life in this world.
