DCEM establishes a spiritual network with Full Gospel Wondang Church
Full Gospel Wondang Church pledges prayer support for Dr. Cho´s international crusades
A DCEM dedication service was held for the first time in Korea at Full Gospel Wondang Church, located on the outskirts of Seoul, to support David Cho Evangelistic Mission (DCEM) in its important role in world missions.
Full Gospel Wondang Church hosted the service, which was coordinated by DCEM. Some 500 enthusiastic church members attended the service.
After the International Prayer Rally held during the day on May 9 at Chamshil Olympic Stadium in commemoration of Dr. Cho´s 50 years of ministry, the Wondang DCEM dedication service was held that evening. A short film highlighted Dr. Cho´s international crusades held during the past eight years since the establishment of DCEM. Elder Shigemasa Shigaki, DCEM executive director, preached the Word of God.
Elder Shigaki preached from Psalm 91:14-16 on the subject, "Our God." He said, "God is a good God who will eagerly respond to our prayers when we earnestly cry out to Him in the time of trouble."
He especially emphasized, "As believers in Jesus, we have the duty and responsibility to lead lost souls to the Lord. Therefore, we must support Dr. Cho through the power of prayer who has been continuously endeavoring to bring lost souls to Jesus for the past 50 years."
Elder Shigaki said, "It´s an honor to meet together with the members of Full Gospel Wondang Church. This is the first time in Korea we have asked other churches for spiritual support for Dr. Cho´s international ministry.
We ask for your continuous prayers for the ministry of DCEM so that Dr. Cho´s crusades will be held successfully and safely."
Through this DCEM dedication service held at Full Gospel Wondang Church, the first church in Korea to hold a DCEM dedication service, many Christians pledged their fervent prayer support for Dr. Cho´s international crusades to bring people to Christ.
It is anticipated that by forming this new spiritual network of prayer in Korea, DCEM will continually do its best to prepare and to conduct Dr. Cho´s international crusades successfully.
Founded in March 2000, by the grace of God DCEM has successfully coordinated 65 of Dr. Cho´s international crusades. He has preached the Full Gospel message of the Fivefold Gospel and the Threefold Blessing in 44 cities in 23 countries to about 3.5 million people.
