* January 6 Dr. Cho left for the Japan crusade which was part of his efforts to win 10 million Japanese to the Lord. He returned on January 10. * January 6 Agape Line became an official church subsidy. * January 15 Dr. Cho was invited to speak at the USA Presidential Inauguration for the 40th President, Mr. Reagan. He participated in the reception for special dignitaries on January 19 and in the inauguration ceremony on January 20. In the evening, he preached to a crowd of religious leaders and politicians and attended a special meeting in the White House for religious readers on January 21. * January 31 Establishment of worship and dedication service for the Korea Association for Creation Research was held by Logos Mission to prove scientifically that God is the creator of the universe and humankind on earth. * February 3~6 Dr. Cho led a Japanese Pastors' Seminar, a part of the "10 million Japanese Soul Saving Mission," in Doba near Nagaoya with 500 participating.

* February 10~13 The first Interdenominational Youth Leaders' Seminar was held for four days. * February 28 Dr. Cho led the groundbreaking service for the Prayer Mountain main sanctuary, a 2,700-pyung building of modern facilities one floor above and one underground on 3,600 pyung of land accommodating 15,000 people, The construction period is one year and four months. * April 29 Dr. Cho was the main speaker at the Church Growth Seminar hosted by CGI in America in Minneapolis, Minnesota. * May 8-9 Dr. Cho's Helsinki Crusade in Finland was held at U.K.K. Gymnasium. The first day 4,000 people attended. The second day 5,500 people attended.

* June 5 Dr. Cho was the main speaker at the "Jesus 1981 Berlin Crusade," and the German Church Growth Seminar was held in the Olympic Stadium, which was built by Hitler in 1936. This was the first time in history that a crusade was held there. * June 23-25 Dr. Cho led the West Japan Crusade in Kyushu as part of the 10 Million Japanese Soul Saving Mission. In the morning, pastoral training seminars were held, and in the afternoon crusades for lay people were held in Oboda Citizens' Center. * July 7-9 Dr. Cho and Pastor Choi led the Ulsan Crusade. It was held for three days in Ulsan Sports Complex organized by the Wisemen Emmanuel Ulsan Club to plant Christ in 500,000 Ulsan citizens. * July 29-31 Summer Holy Spirit Crusade was held with Rev. Ralph Wilkerson as speaker, a church leader pastoring Melodyland Church with 12,000 members in Anaheim, California, and Dr. Cho interpreted. * August 2 Dr. Cho and 180,000 church members prayed for people who sent prayer request letters to the church. * August 5~9 The 8th International Christian Crusade was held for five days at International Prayer Mountain with 1,000 Koreans and 200 Taiwanese participating.

* September 22~24 The 2nd CGI Meeting was held at Lotte Hotel with 22 representatives from 8 countries, and they selected Dr. Cho as Chairman and divided the world in three parts: No. 1 Region: North America (Rev. G.L. Johnson and Rev. Q. Edwards); No. 2 Region: Europe and Africa (Rev. Sjoberg, Sweden); No. 3 Region: Asia and Australia (Rev. Yoshiyama of Japan, Rev. Klimionok of Australia, and Rev. Guneratnam of Malaysia). * November 27-28 The first Youth Leaders' Symposium organized by Youth Growth Institute was held with 500 attending. * December 20 Celebration ceremony for attaining 200,000 members was held with Dr. Demos Shakarian, Chairman of the International Full Gospel Businessmen's Mission Fellowship in the USA. * December 31 Completion ceremony of the World Mission Center was held at the Center, which is a building of 13 stories and 3 underground on 1,250 pyung of land.
