The Indonesia Crusade was held at Semian Olympic Stadium where about 450,000 people attended. Thirty thousand people accepted Jesus as their Savior, and many experienced divine healing.
* February 9
Dr. Cho's crusades in Central and South America - Dr. Cho led a crusade in Panama and in Colombia. After that, "The National Great Prayer Day" was held at Estadio Mateo Flores Stadium in Guatemala City on February 17. It was a nationwide meeting in which 80,000 people attended as well as the President and Vice President of Guatemala. A strong wind of the Holy Spirit blew on the venue and the miraculous signs and wonders of divine healing happened.
* March 18~21
Dr. Cho's crusade in Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic was hosted by Church Growth International and Christianity United in the Dominican Republic.
As the main speaker, Dr. Cho led a Pastors' Seminar in the morning at the Fiesta Hotel with 3,000 pastors attending from countries near the Caribbean Sea and preached for the evening crusades at Santo Domingo Indoor Stadium that seated 15,000, where the venue was overflowing with people.
* April 14
Kyoto, Osaka, and Nagoya crusades were held on April 14 for the 4th anniversary of Osaka Church, to celebrate Easter, and for the evangelization of Japan.
* June 16~17
Moscow Crusade - The crusade was held at the Kremlin Palace, marking a new historical epoch of Christianity. The last crusade was held at a park in front of the Kremlin Palace. The Christians and spiritual leaders of the underground church who had longed for the Holy Spirit experienced the fullness of the Holy Spirit. About 2,000 people accepted Jesus as their Savior, and 100 people experienced divine healing.
* August 17~19
A Church Growth Seminar was held in Tokyo. The speakers were Dr. Cho, Peter Wagner, and others. About 3,000 pastors attended from all areas of Japan.
* November 26 ~28
A Church Growth International Seminar and Evangelistic Bermuda Crusade were held in Bermuda. It was an opportunity for spiritual leaders to recognize the importance of church growth.
